I’m a florist and my flower orders are coming mostly thru my computer. Recently, I got problems in accessing, printing, and looking for customer orders. My computer was very, very slow, and takes several times to process my orders. I asked Joe Conner for helped. Joe responded quickly, clean up my data, and did something else resulting my computer to be very fast and reliable. He knows the in and out of the computer, very nice person and professional. I have had the opportunity to work with Joe Conner since 1986. During that period of time Joe has performed a wide range of tasks and fulfilled a number of roles within the company (Graphic Sciences, Inc.) Joe was initially hired as a service technician dedicated to the installation, training and repair of analog micrographic equipment, a task that he performed with great skill and dedication. His technical ability was complemented by his impeccable customer relations. As technology evolved the common hardware in the industry shifted from analog devices to digital devices which required a new skill set. Joe made that transition with a very high degree of success.

Over time and based on his own observations Joe recognized that the nature of the information management industry was rapidly shifting and that the need for computer based skills would become a necessity for any organization in our market segment. As a result he researched and enrolled in a variety of the Microsoft training and certification classes, all of which he completed with great success.

Joe’s initial observations were entirely correct. The industry is now virtually all digital and the need for highly sophisticated and complex equipment, the networks that are necessary to support the creation and delivery of our products and services and most importantly the skill and diligence that are required to protect highly sensitive data have become the hallmark and responsibility of any organization that may have access to such sensitive data. Under Joe’s guidance and direction we have never experienced a data breach. This of course requires constant scrutiny and diligence both of which he employs with impunity. Joe is now fully responsible for all network and data security operations.

During his tenure with the company Joe has also been instrumental in many other areas. Telecommunications, physical layout of operations, oversight of vendors providing networking services, maintenance of internal computers and attached devices and very significantly education of the internal production and administrative staff which contributes heavily to our breach free record.

In summary, Joe has at all times and in all of his roles fully accepted the responsibilities associated with the duties of each of those roles. He is as energetic as he is skilled and is as dedicated as he is knowledgeable.

I am providing this recommendation as the former president of Graphic Sciences, Inc. I have recently retired but I am completely open to any further discussion regarding Joe’s skills and dedication to his work.
